What we collect
If you sign in with Google, we store your Google account email and display name, plus whatever you submit inside the app: the topics you ask to master, your typed or spoken explanations, any artifact output you paste or upload, and the scores/feedback the AI mentor generates for you. We also track how many items you've generated this month, to enforce the free plan's monthly limit.
We do not ask for or store a password — sign-in is handled entirely by Google, and we never see your Google credentials.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't track you across other sites. The only cookie we set is a single session cookie that keeps you signed in — no tracking or advertising cookies. A theme preference (light/dark) is stored in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
Third-party processing
To generate items and score your explanations, your submitted text is sent to an AI model provider — by default Cloudflare Workers AI, and optionally Groq, Google Gemini, or OpenRouter if this deployment is configured to use them. These providers process that text to produce a response; they are not permitted to use it to build their own products, per their respective API terms. No data about you (email, account id) is sent to these providers — only the learning content itself.
The local/offline version
This app can also run entirely on your own machine against a local model (Ollama), with no sign-in and no server. In that mode nothing described above applies — no data is sent anywhere; it never leaves your device.
How long we keep it
We keep your data until you delete your account. Deleting your account (available in-app, top right) permanently and immediately removes your account record, every topic/session you started, every item and block explanation, every score, and your sign-in session. This cannot be undone.
Your rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app — no request needed. If you'd like a copy of your data, or have any other privacy question, contact privacy@example.com. (Deployment note: replace this address with a real monitored inbox before launch.)
Children
This service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date above will change and, where required, we'll make that clear on sign-in.
